Do what you're NOT expected to do to get paid
Doing what you're not expected to do as a sales rep can get you paid
If you stick to your job description then you can expect to get what you're getting...
Was on a call to one of our members Andrés F. Mego today as we're planning some new initiatives he has.
He's come a long way and he's taking things to another level.
When he first joined The Collectiv Community his goal was simple...
Make income while off sales calls.
You see, there's a ton of ways you can add value to an offer - even the one you're on!
In Andrés' case he helped create an offer with the business he was closing for...
...and negotiated a % commission off each sale.
And each sale was done in the DM's and not through his own calls.
That resulted in his biggest commission month at the time.
And as of right now, the journey continues
I asked him for 3 tips that helped him transform to where he is now...
Here's what he had to share for sales reps:
1️⃣ "Think Like An Owner
As a sales rep, its so easy to have a slow month and start looking for the next ship to jump to; but looking to solve problems, learning the skills needed, is what really grew my income
2️⃣ Alignment (Rest & Recharge)
I noticed when I was working on something exciting, my body would naturally wake me up around 530am, ready to start my day.
But when I had shifted to different projects that I thought I was excited by, even with adequeate sleep I struggled to get out of bed. That was a great reminder of what really lit me up
3️⃣ Who We Surround Ourselves With
Being in The Collectiv, seeing other sales reps start their own businesses and see massive momentum quickly was a huge motivator to play the same game.
The inspiration and the round tables helped me see it possible for myself before the results happened."
Wise words from someone who is going after it!
PS. The month after he went snowboarding for 30 days! And still made bank. Freakin awesome 🔥
