As a sales pro, sometimes you just gotta have a go
There is no substitute for taking action
Marty Kausylas has had a good journey during the course of this year
When he joined The Collectiv in February this year his goal was simple -
…learn how to spot opportunities outside of closing
I remember calling him out during a round table call for having shit energy in our meeting
But he’s always shown that he’s the type to absorb information and take action
In April he posted about getting into a management role by end of August
And during this time, he declined ‘sexy offers’ until he found one that had potential that suited him best
He learnt how to recognise opportunities in businesses
And by start of August he was managing a team.
He helped the business build processes as well as hire and train a sales team.
And then before you know it, he’s in a director role!
I asked him to share what it’s like to have this journey.
Marty said:
“Challenging and fun at the same time as I’ve never done it before. It’s all about having a problem solving mentality and showing up as a leader and leading - key things i took from being around some in The Collectiv"
And this is more fulfilling then just closing as I get to add more value to the company being in leadership role and get to work and help some great guys.”
