Follow these 3 rules to change your life
RESULTS are cool when you're working with someone…
It’s a great motivator for others looking to go the same place.
But what’s really cool is to see TRANSFORMATION.
Especially when it’s someone you’ve seen in the 'before' stage…
Results are short term, transformation is long term
One person I’ve seen, and our private community has seen transform is Orlando Santucci
In January this year, he joined as member #6 of our The Collectiv Community
But I had my doubts on his motives for joining the group…
You see, we had a bit of history…
Over a year ago, I’d tried to place him in an offer
At the time, I’d put him forward and things didn’t work out
He had been going from one offer to another…
And I gave him a hard time
Told him that I can’t help him anymore because he wasted my time
So when he dropped into my DM about the community, I took the call with him anyway.
I kept an open mind and so did he…
He joined the community at the early stage
He showed up
He kept his word
We met in person (along with some of our other members in Australia)
And now, he’s a different version of himself!
He’s off travelling
Working with a good business
Selling out in person events
Collaborating with others
Running a paid community
He changed right in front of us!
So I asked him…what are things sales reps should do to change their life for the better?
He narrowed it down into 3 things:
Change your environment
Get outside of your comfort zone
Have faith that it will work out
And to elaborate, I quote Orlando below:
I had to change my environment and step into the unknown. I went to a completely unknown environment and changed my self identity which changed the way I viewed myself which changed my actions to align with who I wanted to be instead of who I was
I had to take a risk and put myself in situations where I didn’t know what would happen. I bought a one way flight to another country and figured it out as I went.
I did all of this when I wasn’t in a logical position to do so. My finances weren’t the best. I wasn’t in a solid sales gig at the time. But I had faith that putting myself in a new situation would work out. And it did. I didn’t know how, I just knew it would.
This is what it’s all about for me.
To be able to see people change.
To see what they’re capable of with change.
Orlando would likely have figured this out on his own
But with the power of a community, it just happens faster!
PS. The photo above was from earlier this year where we all told Orlando to pack his shit and head off overseas and go live his life! Well done!
